Dynasty of the Dinosaurs.

Dynasty of the Dinosaurs was created as the final project for my MA and grew out of my thesis, How Paleoart Can Be Utilised in Contemporary Wildlife Conservation. Written and illustrated entirely by me, the book is aimed at children aged nine to eleven.

Through an accessible, engaging timeline, the book traces the evolutionary journey from dinosaurs to modern birds, helping young readers understand their remarkable connection. Alongside exploring prehistoric life and evolution, it introduces an important conservation message: birds are the dinosaurs of today, and protecting them is essential. By combining scientific information, original paleoart and visual storytelling, Dynasty of the Dinosaurs uses children’s nonfiction to connect the fascination of the prehistoric past with the urgent need to conserve present-day wildlife.
